Where Passion meets Veterinary Medicine
We Have Everything To Keep Your Pet Healthy
Proudly locally owned and operated since 2000
We are a full service small animal veterinary hospital located in beautiful Collingwood, Ontario and have been proudly treating pets in our region since 2000. We are a non-corporate, locally owned and operated multi-veterinarian practice established by Collingwood native and local resident veterinarian Dr. Jacquie Pankatz. We are centrally located to serve Collingwood, the Town of Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, Stayner, Creemore and the surrounding communities of Southern Georgian Bay and beyond. Living in this four-season play-ground, we welcome clients and their pets who call our region their second home. We also gladly work with clients in collaboration with their regular veterinarian who seek our ultrasound, laparoscopic, regenerative medicine and natural pet care services. New patients are warmly welcomed! We are the only veterinary hospital that is fully equipped and have surgically- trained onsite veterinarians to offer laparoscopic spay surgery north of the GTA.

Dear Valued Clients
As Ontario is in "stage 3" of opening, we are very happy to see businesses in our community opening up and people getting back to work - but this is still not normal times. We have had some clients asking about when are we going to get back to normal operations. The vast majority of our clients have been understanding and cooperative and we thank you for this. Our primary concern is the health and safety of our clients and health care team. With COVID-19 cases raging south of the border, this is a clear example of when public health measures are not taken seriously and when we become less diligent, things can get quickly out of control. We feel it is too soon in the course of this pandemic to have our doors freely open. We see many patients during the busy summer months in our region both locally and from out of town, and we feel the system that we have set-up, albeit inefficient at times, is currently working to keep our staff safe and to ensure that we will be here for you and your pet for the months to come.
We are devising a plan and arranging for the time when clients will be allowed in so that everyone will be properly protected and social distancing can be maintained. For the time being, we will continue curbside check-in appointments for our patients as well as continue curbside pick-up for prescriptions and other items as this is a model that allows us to continue to provide exceptional veterinary care while providing the highest protection for you, for us and everyone's loved ones at home. Special exceptions are made for end of life care. For those entering the building, we do have a strict mask-wearing policy. We will further assess the situation on a month by month basis and keep you updated. We also encourage our clients to order their pet's diets and other non-prescription items through our webstore to save time and to help keep our phone lines open as they are very busy during this time. If you can not get through, please leave a message or call back. We estimate that the call volume remains to be at least 4 x's busier than usual. We have a team that is dedicated to answering the phone and checking messages constantly throughout the workday. Please plan ahead for your prescription refills. Our receptionists CAN NOT fill prescriptions without a doctor's consent (this is CVO regulation). The sheer volume of calls has been unprecedented but we will get to you. You may also contact us at which we monitor on a regular basis during regular business hours.
Thank-you for your continued patience and trust in our hospital.
