We are looking to hire an operations manager in our beautiful, state of the art veterinary hospital in Collingwood. As operations manager you will be involved in the day to day operations of our veterinary practice involved directly in team scheduling, mentoring, scheduling and directing CE opportunities, HR management, inventory control, payroll processing (we use the services of Ceridian and a Day Force time clock scheduler), data management and basic accounting. A passion for veterinary medicine and continued learning should be reflected in this leadership role in our hospital. The right candidate should be trust-worthy, possess strong communication skills and be able to manage conflict with maturity and dignity when it arises. Experience with Avimark and Quickbooks are a distinct asset as well as excellent computer and problem-solving skills. Preference will be given to RVT's who have had a strong background in clinical practice however other candidates with a solid knowledge of veterinary hospital operations will also be considered. Summer 2020 RVT Co-op Positions
We have two positions available for the upcoming spring/summer season for veterinary technicians enrolled in an RVT program in order to complete requirements for training. First and second RVT students are welcome to apply. There would also be some opportunity to stay on for the entire summer as well as a possibility of long term employment for the right candidates. Our placement offers extensive hands-on training, mentoring and an opportunity to work in an environment that offers high-end diagnostic medicine and advanced surgical procedures, Fear Free techniques, comprehensive pain management protocols and high concern for patient quality of life, hands-free x-rays, rehabilitation services and dental procedures including extensive use of digital dental x-rays.
